After School Program & Summer Camp

Tammy Sojka is the Director of After School Program at Our Savior Lutheran School and is overjoyed to be working with each and every student in this upcoming year’s program. Tammy’s kind and caring staff are looking forward to meeting the new students in the After School Program as well as welcoming back the familiar faces.

The full-time after school program operates from the hours of 7:00am-6:00pm. The Aftercare Program facilitates an environment which is conducive for working on homework, complete with all of the necessary equipment which might be needed from the student’s different classes. Although the staff is there to aid in the students homework, if needed, they are not a substitution for parental assistance with a student’s homework.

Your child will meet for check-in at Room 7 for socialization and relaxation. Following this will be a 30-minute “quiet” period that is allotted for homework to be worked on, as well as mathematics, reading for A.R. or any other assigned projects. If your child requires more time than is given to complete their homework assignments, please let their group leader know and appropriate accommodations can be made. Having a conversation with your child about the importance of the rules during homework time is imperative so that every student has the opportunity to succeed in a quiet atmosphere.
