Southeastern Guide Dogs (Palmetto)

Round Trip Transportation and Docent Tour  $30.00

Our Savior members travel to Palmetto to visit the Southeastern Guide dog facility.
We will see their Beyond the Dark program on how dogs are trained to help and assist the blind and handicapped,

We will dine at Chattaways.  CASH ONLY

After lunch we will tour the Old Southeast Neighborhood. We do a walking tour through Driftwood and then ride past Lassing Park,the Quaker compound and then a drive over Thrill Hill.

Safety Harbor Tour (Safety Harbor)

Join Our Savior members as we tour Safety Harbor on a driving and walking tour of this historic town.

We have a tour of the Safety Harbor Museum and Culture Center set up,and another tour of the Safety Harbor Spa later in the day. We dine at the Spas Fountain Grill.

We stop at the oldest tree in Pinellas County, the 300 year old Baranoff Oak Tree. We also visit the Pink Elephant.

We end our tour at the former Kapok Tree Restaurant which is now Sam Ash Music.

Chihuly Collection & Morean Arts Center (St. Petersburg)

Two Museums + Glass Blowing Demonstration + Transportation  $25.00

Our Savior members visit the New Dale Chihuly Museum of glass blowing on Central Avenue. This new museum has been specially designed to highlight his works of art.

After our self guided tour we visit the Morean Arts Center across the street, and then a glass blowing demonstration at their hot shop and gift store.

This is also a walking tour from Mirror Lake we walk to the Chihuly museum..

We dine at the Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movements in St. Petersburg.

Yoder's Amish Village and Restaurant + Sarasota Architectural Salvage (Sarasota)

Transportation and Tour $10.00 per person

Our first stop is Architectural Salvage, a 10,000 square foot cornucopia of Architectural stunning elements from around the globe. This is the largest collection of its kind on Florida,s west coast. You will enjoy the variety of items.

Our second stop is the Amish Mennonite community in Pinecraft Florida. Pinecraft is the Amish Las Vegas.What happens in Pinecraft stays in Pinecraft. During the winter months up north the Amish from Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana come south to Florida to enjoy our weather. They have their own bus line.

We will visit Pinecraft Park where they play shuffleboard, basketball and volleyball.

We visit the only Amish Post office in the world. Very few cars in Pinecraft, they use three wheel bicycles and the new electric bicycles.

We will be dining at Yoder's or Der Dutchman depending on the size of our group.
