The Lutheran Student Fellowship mission team from Truman State University had a great time serving our community down here in St. Petersburg!
Over the course of the last week, all thirteen of the mission team members worshipped with us at our East Bay site, and cleaned beaches, shelters, and replanted exotic plants at Ft. DeSoto.
Linnea Heimsoth, LSF President, shared, “Thanks so much for setting up everything for our trip, we had an awesome and unforgettable time. Your congregation members were such a blessing to us during this whole experience. We seriously had the best time!”
Many thanks go out to individuals, small groups, and elders who prepared and served some fantastic meals to these students. We so deeply appreciate how our church embraced this group and made them feel welcome. Thanks for “living love” to our fellow Lutheran missionaries from Missouri!
