Join Our Savior members as we visit Mixon Fruit Farms in Bradenton. We ride the Orange Blossom Express Tram through the groves and see a variety of Citrus trees and view the farm. We stop at their Wildlife Rescue area for a guided tour. We do a self-guided tour of the processing plant, and then eat our Buffet lunch at the beautiful Honeybell Hall. Due to doubling of insurance rates for the farm, lack of workers and the owners’ age, they have sold the farm after 85 years in business.  The farm closes in July 2023. A developer has purchased the farm and will build condominiums in its place. We visited here in 2014 and had a good time. Please join us for the end of an era.
