It’s a really nice, eye-opening mission-minded app. Bonus, you can learn geography when you use it…
2) Bible App (LifeChurch version) – it’s packed with free Bible studies, plus the ability to listen to the Bible being read, highlight, make Bible verse art, do Bible studies together with your friends, and a place to post prayer requests.
3) ParentCue – this free app just started to be utilized by Kids Church. It offers some simple Bible stories, videos, article links, and ideas for parents to connect with their children and share their faith lives together at home.
4) The Bible App for Kids (YouVersion) – free app for children. Super simple to navigate, packed with Bible videos, colorful illustrations, touch-activated animations and special activities and challenges to help kids remember what they’re learning. It’s really pretty cool. It reads a simple Bible story aloud, linking it with videos and illustrations and questions – very interactive.
5) “PictureThis” is a free app that allows you to take photos of plants and flowers and instantly learn all about them. It’s a great app for all ages, and gives you the ability to explore foliage around your area, learn more about plants, and offers a lot of helpful articles too.
Check back daily for updates!
The Skit Guys have launched a nightly online series for all ages called “Bedtime Bible Stories with The Skit Guys”. It is filling a need for people and families, especially since church and Sunday school aren’t happening as they normally would.
Each episode of Bedtime Bible Stories with features a story from Scripture, a thematic keyword, a prayer, and a Bible verse that viewers are encouraged to memorize over the course of a week – and they’re funny too!
The show airs at 7:30 PM (central) every night on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, and viewers engage with the video and each other in a chat while it airs. But if that’s too late for your little ones, you can view them at any time on their website.
