HOW DO YOU DEFINE “THE STREETS?”
“The Streets” are defined as a family in need, a building to clean, a group of people to love, or any other avenue by which the message of Christ can be expressed.
To REBUILD, REPAIR, and RESTORE “The Streets” of St Pete.
HOW WILL WE DO IT?
Weekly, the “STREET TEAMS” will be deployed into our communities at homeless shelters, nursing homes, possibly even your backyard as we engage people through service, relationships, and the message of Christ. Living Love.
WHY SHOULD WE DO IT?
Our world is broken, its people are lost, and the church MUST respond. As a youth community, we recognize that fun and games are essential to a vibrant student environment, however our calling as Christians reaches far beyond the walls of “The Outlet.” If we have been changed by the death of Christ and believe that His spirit lives within us, then the message of the Gospel should not go unspoken. With our lives, we aim to share that message of hope, forgiveness, and life renewed.
WHO CAN DO IT?
Anyone willing and able is encouraged to join the STREET TEAMS this summer. With our youth leading the way, we ask that YOU join us as we make a lasting impact in our city.
“Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”
